Description

Moonboon Baby Hammock – a calm start to sleep for the very smallest

The Moonboon Baby Hammock is a hanging baby cradle in GOTS-certified organic cotton, developed in Denmark together with sleep experts. It is made for the first months, roughly 0–6 months, and gives your baby a soft, enveloping sleep environment reminiscent of the womb. The biggest advantage is the rocking: the spring makes the hammock move at the baby's slightest movement, which helps many babies fall asleep faster and settle themselves back to sleep between sleep cycles.

The mattress is filled with 100% kapok, a natural material that is allergy-friendly, antibacterial and temperature regulating – it keeps the warmth even without the baby overheating. The fabric is soft and light, and the walnut cross pin holds the hammock open so the baby lies securely. The baby hammock weighs little and takes up minimal space, making it easy to move between rooms or bring to the summer house. It hangs from the ceiling with Moonboon's ceiling mount, in a door frame with a door clamp, or on a freestanding stand. The hammock is also prepared for Moonboon's rocking motor, if you want the rocking to continue without you being in the room.

Baby hammocks are not suitable for children who can sit, kneel or pull themselves up on their own.

  • Age: approx. 0–6 months
  • Spring weight capacity: up to 10 kg
  • Material: GOTS-certified organic cotton, 100% kapok and walnut wood
  • Design: Developed in Denmark together with sleep experts
  • Care: Delivered pre-washed and can be hand washed at just over 40 degrees. We recommend shaking or airing the kapok mattress rather than washing it.
  • Please note: Suspension (ceiling mount, door clamp or stand), carabiner and rocking motor are not included and are rented separately.

Renting the Moonboon Baby Hammock from Parently makes it easy to use a premium cradle for exactly the months it is actually needed. The period in which a baby hammock is used is short, and by renting you avoid a large one-off investment in something your child quickly outgrows. Once your child has grown too big, you simply send the hammock back and we prepare it for the next family.
