Description

The Maxi-Cosi Mica Slide Pro is a rotating, rear-facing car seat that takes your child from birth (40 cm) up to about 4 years (105 cm, max 18 kg). It is approved to R129/04 (i-Size). Its biggest advantage shows every time your child gets in or out of the car: with SlideTech®2 the seat slides 27 cm towards you, so you can lift your child without leaning into the car and straining your back.

The integrated ISOFIX base with support leg lets you rotate the seat 360° with one hand, and colour-coded indicators show when it is installed correctly. The seat can also be installed with the car's three-point belt. The Easy-in harness stays open while you place your child, and the e-buckle uses light and sound signals to confirm that the harness is properly tightened. G-CELL side impact protection spreads the forces in a side collision, and AirProtect® in the headrest gives extra protection for the head. Five recline positions, nine harness height positions and ClimaFlow ventilation make longer journeys more comfortable, and the included newborn insert gives the right support in the first months. The cover is removable, machine washable at 30 °C and partly made from recycled material.

Renting the Maxi-Cosi Mica Slide Pro from Parently gives you a premium seat for the whole period from the first drive home from hospital to around age four, without buying a seat you only need for a few years. Use it as long as your child fits, then send it back.

Questions or need help?

Find answers to common questions or contact us directly – we're happy to help.

From what age can the Mica Slide Pro be used?

From birth. The seat fits children from 40 to 105 cm and up to 18 kg, roughly from newborn to 4 years. The newborn insert is included and used in the first months.

How is the seat installed in the car?

With the integrated ISOFIX base and support leg. Colour-coded indicators show when the seat is fitted correctly. It can also be installed with the car's three-point belt.

How does SlideTech®2 work?

When the seat is rotated towards the door, you pull it 27 cm towards you. Your child is placed and lifted out closer to the door opening, so you don't have to lean into the car.

Can the seat be used forward-facing?

No. The Mica Slide Pro is used rear-facing, and the rotation lock keeps the seat locked in the rear-facing position while driving.

What is included in the rental?

The car seat with integrated ISOFIX base and support leg, plus the newborn insert. Accessories such as a sun canopy, back-seat mirror and seat-back pocket are not included.
